L.Alagarsamy is a graduate in Political Science and Sociology and a Post Graduate in Public Administration. He holds M.Phil. Degree in Political Science and registered his Research thesis in ‘Political Sociology’ on Inter-disciplinary basis. The first scholar of Madurai Kamaraj University, Tamil Nadu, who registered on inter-disciplinary basis in Humanity Section.

He is a multi-facted professional of a long career graph of twenty five years with work experience in various capabilities : Teacher, Researcher, Administrator, Counsellor, and a dynamic Principal. He has specilised in guiding Research theses in various disciplines (Political Science, Public Administration, Sociology, History, Economics, Education, Business Management, etc.,) He has had wide and varied theoretical and practical experience in the file of education. He has also had an extensive exposure of doing administrative, academic reforms and infrastruetural development of a school. An effective communicator with exceptional interpersonal aptitude, while dealing with students, teachers and parents. He is an enthusiastic professional with strong and decisive academic leadership qualities.

He possesses excellent knowledge of the subjects he teaches and displays innovative and professional attitude in all his work. He shows initiative with regard to organization of co-curriculur activities and improvement of school standards. Being a good academic administrator, he adopts modern teaching techniques in his work and conducts training programs and workshops for the professional development of his team. Being conscientious, patient and perseverant, he is comfortable in dealing with parents and a good disciplinarian. His passion, endeavour and purpose in life is to bring out the best in children and making a difference morally and academically wherever they are placed in this world. He authored books on English Grammar, Proverbs of Tribals (Arunachal Pradesh), English book for Nursery and Circle-Time Activities for KG children.

He strongly believes that all students and staff have high Self-Esteem and talents. It is the responsibility of the school and the school leader to develop it, find ways for them to succeed and everyone in the school to make that ‘Quality’ happens. He also believes that nurturing the qualities like positive attitude, ambition and confidence goes a long way in propelling the child to achieve success in this competitive world.
